For the 2025 edition of 3daysofdesign, we invited guests to step inside a renewed vision of our residence. The New Works Residence, unveiled in 2024 within the storied walls of Bernstorff Palæ, has now evolved into a boutique hotel experience—a place where thoughtful details foster a sense of discovery and where a generous, warm feeling prevails.
In collaboration with our long-time partner Lotta Agaton Interiors, our second-floor residence has been transformed into scenes of a hotel—each space composed with intention, tactility, and character. Scale and new functions have been added to the familiarity of the New Works Residence, giving shape to a blend of intimacy and grandeur. At the heart of this year’s concept lies an expanded offering of hospitality-minded pieces. From benches and bistro tables to the versatile new Shore Modular Sofas for lounging and dining, each design invites connection.

Our vision of a hotel room unfolds as a serene space composed with attention to detail to make guests feel special and cared for. Muted shades and the warmth of textiles and wood create a sense of calm, with textured stripes used as an elegant accent. The Tana series is featured throughout the room, including a custom headboard that provides a grounding backdrop for the comfortable continental bed, which has been carefully made with crisp bed linen and soft cushions.
The lobby is an inviting space, warm and glowing in the morning light that shines through the east-facing windows, with the rich use of textiles and earthy tones evoking a tranquil, grounded ambience. The interior showcases soft contrasts, with light sand against dark greenish browns, and black marble juxtaposed with oiled oak. The new Kantarell lighting series is used throughout the space, its smooth, cool finish balancing plush, mohair-clad Covent Sofas.

Designed for gathering, the long sofa encourages conversation and connection.
