There are certain milestones that feel quietly momentous. Ten years is young, and yet, long enough for something to take root and find its form. To celebrate, we journeyed to Champagne, surrounded by the soft hush of vineyards and age-old cellars, marking the years not in numbers, but in moments—in work, in relationships, in care—in the slow, deliberate unfolding of something that lasts.
Time passes like it often does when you’re intent on something; the moments folding into one another. It’s only when you pause to look back that you realise how much has changed and how far things have come.
New Works began with an idea—founded in 2015 by Nikolaj and Knut—and now, ten years on, it has grown into something solid. A team that has found its rhythm, a brand we're proud of. To mark our journey, we now find ourselves gathered in Champagne to celebrate.
The landscape is undeniably beautiful, a backdrop to the moments we now take to reflect. Between passing plates, we raise our glasses, toasting to what’s been built and what lies ahead. The conversation shifts between past and future, between work and the moments in between. The best things, we’re reminded, take time.
There’s something meaningful about celebrating our tenth year here—wandering the streets of a region built upon a craft that is the very picture of patience, care and, of course, celebration. The wine houses here are a testament to this slow, steady process of creation, some of them enduring for generations.
