Oslo-based designer Jonas Ravlo Stokke’s approach to design moves between structure and intuition. Influenced by his architectural upbringing and technical background, he explores geometry through drawing and full-scale experimentation, developing an intimate understanding of the objects he designs. His work considers the entire life of an object, from its manufacture and distribution to how it is used, lived with, and ultimately becomes part of its surroundings.
